“My primary objection is I don’t think it is right, I don’t think it is just, I don’t think it is fair.” Barbara Campbell Harvey commenting on San Fransisco’s Nov. 2 ballot question considering whether to allow noncitizens to vote in school board elections.

“[Apple] could offer a religious-like experience. It could basically perform the same role in people’s lives that being part of a religious community could,…” Heidi Campbell, a communications professor who co-wrote an academic paper exploring the religious myths and metaphors surrounding the tech giant and its larger-than-life founder and CEO, Steve Jobs.

“Look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. …You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. … But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.” Juan Williams commenting on The O’Riley Factor which subsequently got him fired from NPR.

“And of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side-by-side and to enjoy each other… has failed, utterly failed.” German Chancellor, Angela Merkel stating that Germany’s attempt to build a Multi-cultural society has mot worked.

“You can’t throw it to them, you’ve got to play within the confines of our system. Sometimes it’s OK to punt the football. You can’t give seven points going the other way, not in a game like this.” Minnesota Vickings’ coach Brad Childress commenting on Brett Farves 3 interceptions against the Packers this past Sunday Night.
